4th SUMMER SCHOOL 2022

The 4th Summer School of ELMAA was succesfully organised in collaboration with the Ionian University and the Corfu Bar Association in Corfu Island. The courses covered issues on EU procedural law, freedom of information and free movement of audiovisual services, the recent EU sanctions against Russia,

Professors

Anthony Michael Collins, Advocate General at the European Court of Justice. Course on challenging the validity of EU measures in practice.

Vasilios Christianos, Emeritus professor of EU law of Law School of Athens. Course on preliminary references by national courts before the European Court of Justice [teaching together with Georgia Kelepouri and Alexandros Politis].

Stefanos Kardaras, Legal & strategy advisor to the Director General of Euratom, European Commission. Course on today’s role of the Euratom Treaty.

Michel Politis, Professor of legal, political and economic translation at the Ionian University of Corfu. Course on the translation of documents of the EU institutions.

Georgia Kelepouri, lawyer, PhD candidate at the Law School of Athens. Course on preliminary references by national courts before the European Court of Justice [teaching together with Prof. Vasilios Christianos and Alexandros Politis].

Roberto Mastroianni, Judge at the General Court of the European Union and EU law professor at the University of Naples. Course on freedom of information and free movement of audiovisual services in EU law.

Aikaterini Pantazatou, Professor of Tax Law at the University of Luxembourg. Course on European Tax Law.

Thedoros Panagos, lawyer, professor at the International Hellenic University, former Vice-Chairman of the Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy. Course on “RepowerEU – Towards an Energy Independent Europe – Emergency Measures”.

Spiridon Adamopoulos, interpreter at the European Court of Justice. Course on practical issues regarding the legal interpretation at the ECJ.

Alexandros Politis, lawyer, PhD candidate at University of Luxembourg. Course on preliminary references by national courts before the European Court of Justice [teaching together with Prof. Vasilios Christianos and Georgia Kelepouri].
